Maturity:
A very good vintage for Chile, with ripe, concentrated fruit
flavours across all of the classic grape varieties. The weather was hot and dry throughout the country, resulting in
reduced yields. The high temperatures caused many of the varieties to
ripen early, sparking fears that there might be problems with physiological
ripeness. These fears were proved to be unfounded and there is good
ripeness across the board.
