In Champagne there are around 11,000 growers and 110 Champagne houses. Traditionally the Champagne houses have always held the upper hand but recently they have not had everything their own way. Firstly, the growers have demanded, and received, significant increases for their grapes and, in a deal carved out last summer, have guaranteed grape prices for the next 3 years. Secondly, increasing numbers of growers are now setting up on their own and producing and selling the Champagnes themselves.

With regard to the Champagne houses, we have extensive stocks that include vintage Champagnes from Bollinger, Pol Roger, Louis Roederer, and Krug. Importantly, we are able to offer fully mature bottles from these prestigious houses.
